Combining left and right video files

Postby -PC-Taishar on Sun Jun 19, 2011 12:41 pm

I recently downloaded a bunch of 3d movies with separate left and right video files. I've downloaded a couple different programs to combine them into a single side by side file but both have failed. Do any of you have software you use to accomplish this?

:) do you have a 3d tv buzz? I downloaded one that was already formed into the left and right side by side. My TV will turn that into a 3d movie. The others I dl'ed don't have them merged into one file yet so I'm having no luck. But yes, It's tres awesome.

Man i haven't tried 3D movies on my monitor yet, i should prolly give it a shot :/

It's been a while since I used adobe premier but, Can't you just make a new composition, double the width, then place them side by side, and then render it? Well, if you have premier that is... O.o

Does premier handle mkv? I've found a solution, but it's a real pain in the ass. I use AVIMUX to rerender the mkv into avi then I use 3DCombine to put them together. That means about 2 hours each for the left and right then approximately eternity to put them together. Not really worth it in my book.
