The aftermarket hood he posted is hot, that pic doesn't really show off the back of it too well. The only thing I'd change is making the scoop grilles black. I don't care for the contrast it creates being silver.

Damn I want one of these cars. :(

i saw that back of it, i just dont like it. But i agree about the black grilles, they would make it look better.

nice car, grats to ya both :) all ya gotta do now is teach her to work the stick.... car wise.

im not a huge fan of that hood tho, never liked that type of bulk after the scoop . i'd rather go with something more streamline ... http://www.afterthoughtsauto.com/gto-hood.html

i agree. But i still dont like the "nostril" style on the hood. I have a hood in mind that i saw on TV that i really liked. now i wish i knew enough about cars to know what it was. Personally the plain hood on the GTO is fine. It keeps the car nice and clean IMO.

I'm going to look at a GTO on monday. I just can't take it anymore, this <100hp econobox is killing me. Thanks for making me spend money.

PS - I'll find out next week if I'm getting it for sure, but I'll probably need to get some of the same stuff you are so let me know if you find anyone good to deal with in Gainsville, it's only about a 2.5 hour drive for me. I'm going to look around ls1gto for orlando guys too. Got to change that hood asap.

PS - does your gf have a sister that likes GTOs? [ img ]

I'm don't know what kind of load out it comes with, tibs, but I saw the 05 impala advertised for 12 g. I'm no GM fan at all, but DAMN. I like the Impala, and I like it even more at 12,000. Just a heads up. If you wanna shop around a bit.

The interior had me captivated for the GTO. I couldn't say no. If it wasn't 11pm I'd post pics, because I bought a blue/blue 04 6 speed. Now taking applications for the passenger seat. :P

I know, too bad GTOs aren't sheep instead of goats. :P

Pics just so you can see the color, it is the same car after all.

I didn't have one of the windows up, but the tint is 5%. Afraid I'll have to get it taken off and put to legal. Can't see shit at night. :(
