The boxy look seems to fit the convertible nice. You don't see them around that often.

i like it, kinda like a mercedes, i like the strong lines. I have been SOOOOO sick of the "jetsons syndrome" as i have labeled it that happened all through the 90s. Every car suddenly became a bubble. A big damn bubble. Look at what happened to the Lumina later in the 90s.

'93('94 same body style) - nice body, 3.1 V6 optional 3.4 liter engine

'95 - Jetsons Syndrome, early stages, 3.1 V6 only.

'93 - One of my favorite bodystyles out of all cars to date, definitely in the top 10 of cars i would be able to afford :P

'94 - Jetsons Syndrome, The mustang caught it a little earlier
[ img ]

'92 - Ahhh, the MX-6, another one f my faves, with a 2.2L 4 cylinder turbo, it was pretty fast, turbo goodness.

'93 - The poor MX-6 was one of the first lemmeings, errr, Jetson Syndrome cases on file. They dropped the GT version and made an LS version with a V6 2.5L

lucky tho, they actually did a good conversion of design to "Jetsonization".

by and far, most of these Jetson styles were bland and unimaginative. I think its because computers were introduced and the designers were noobs with 'em. so most of the time it looks like they took a bunch of elonated spheres and merged them together (example, the Aurora.)

I mean, look at it, i think its in a field because the owner was too embarassed to park it in the driveway.

anyways, point in case, new mustang design, very sweet. I like the deviation of Jetsons Disease. and better yet, to have a design that is very futuristic in a car that normally starts under 20K. Lets *hope* the entry model stays at that range.

2002 was the last year for the camaro, say bye bye. :(

Too bad i was gonna go for the SS, 325 horsies and 350ft/lb of torque. 5.7L V8 OMG. Thats just insane power man.

so i'm gonna go for the Mustang Mach1 instead, 305hp and 320ft/lb torque and i get a little over 2 - 3 thousand discounted because i work for PWC so all in all, its a good deal.

I dunno if i wanna wait till 2005 for a new car :/
