Car Subforum?

Postby Khemikal on Tue Apr 24, 2007 2:43 pm

I know many of us are into different rides...any chance of getting a car forum to see what we are all doing?

I agree, we definitely need a forum where we can swap tuning ideas for our cars. Like adding NOS stickers to gain +50WHP.

BTW. VDUB in the hizzouse!!!

He'll deserve his own subforum when it's done though, that thing is going to be sick. I think I'll need a second job to start dumping money in mine when the warranty is up.

edit: Khem, what do you drive now? You still have that Cherokee?

There is SOOOOO, much stuff i want to do to my car, the only problem is, all the parts are in Europe, and cost a fortune.

I have two RX7's.
88 Base SE (Turbo Project)
89 Pettit Street Ported 'Vert

Both were hit within a few weeks of each other. I just fixed the body damage on the Base...I took the engine out of the vert to do some maintenance and fix some things...that should be back on the road within 4 weeks.

Depending on how things go, I may pick up a 3rd gen by the end of the year and sell the SE.

As soon as the 'vert is up, I'm doing the 5-lug swap on the base + UIM swap.

Base will probably be putting down 160 and the vert 200 within the next 6 weeks. I just like cornering in those cars, they are retarded fun. Once the 'vert gets tuned, I'm doing the suspension on it next. KYB AGX's, RB Springs, and Energy Suspension Bushings.

Very nice. Yeah, those things are wicked fun for cornering.

That's all that really matters to me, tis why i decided to try out the Quattro TT. It uses the same AWD system as the R32. You can definitely feel the car pull you through the corners, without the rear end wanting to whip out. Although that is fun too =P which is why I might get a performance AWD ECU that puts more bias on the rear wheels.

I have a 98 volvo s70 Turbo. Its black, with tan leather seats. It has airconditioning, a sun roof, windows, and seat warmers. There are a couple cup holders in it as well. I have 4 kick ass tires that came with the car.

i'm sorry, but it makes me chuckle a bit thinking of your 6'6'' frame sitting in those little rx7's. i know you're not fat, but all i keep hearing is 'fat guy in a little coooooat.'
