I Guess blizzard decided that if people are going to sell their crap for real world cash anyway, that they better get a cut of it. Its kinda sad to see but makes sense.

Ya I think its a good idea to facilitate the transfers because it provides a trusted structure and would minimize help center calls about hacked accounts and they get a cut for a reasonable service. I'm all for it personally so long as it's as they say and not actually just a store with overpriced shit that you can only get in the store. I mean that kind shit i understand in f2p games but not in something from blizz but it doesn't sound like that will be the case.

Honestly I think blizz is very forward thinking in those respects I mean they came out with the wow web auction house also with a mobile app for iphone/android. When I used to transmute lots and make crazy gold in the AH I actually paid the extra 2 dollars/mo for it and it was worth it for me. I could put up new shit while at work, collect my gold, buy cheap mats during the day when desperate players were unloading their junk and just log in for a few mins, craft up everything and list it up again. It helped me farm up a nice reserve of gold waiting for the expansion.

It's going to be interesting.
