What a jackass. Honestly here's what really bothers me about Obama and other socialists, they try to equivocate EVERYONE. Newsflash we are not all the same some are more gifted than others, and, if left to their own devices, those more gifted will enrich the quality of life for everyone around them. Edison, Franklin, The Wright Brothers, Jobs, Gates, The Sham Wow Guy. These are innovators (ok not the sham wow guy), these men are necessarily better than their counter parts. The sooner socialists realize that the better off society will be. This isn't to say that these men have more rights than us or should be treated any different than us, merely that excellence is under-recognized in today's society and as such society is limiting itself.

WTF!!! No. You're right, I got there with the help of a bunch of other like minded individual's whose interest complement and supplement my own. Other achievers who strive to better themselves, and subsequently better me. Nobody ever achieved greatness collecting a welfare check. Or working for the IRS.

I think it's funny how we are all the same when it comes to financial achievement (or at least we should be according to the socialists). In other words they want hegemony. But bring in culture and by golly you better freaking be ultra diverse and cater to every race, religion, and ethnicity out there. In other words you're all the same but by god you better be different.

I think you misinterpret Obama's position, and I doubt Obama (or other "socialists" :roll:) would disagree with you here.

Elizabeth Warren has essentially made the same argument as Obama. It's a good little speech. Note how she states that people should be rewarded for their accomplishments.
