Fantasy Football

Postby -PC-Taishar on Thu Jun 27, 2013 10:49 am

Well Hockey is over which means football season has officially started. I just created a league on Yahoo. I'm hoping to make it a 12 team head to head league if I get enough interest. It ain't no chump league I'm thinking 60 dollars (though some I guess would call that a chump league).
Will pay 1st and 2nd. (prize money TBD) 3rd place gets screwed.

Toilet bowl winner will get 20 bucks and each weekly high score will get 20 bucks. (all paid at the end of the season).

Here's the link to join

I plan on opening this up to some of my friends around base, but giving this community first dibs. I don't expect I'll get 12 managers from here so I'll probably end up with a few locals playing.

Yeah I saw the wicked one kind of fall to shit. That's why I have a toilet bowl and a weekly high score payout. Even if you KNOW you aren't going to make the playoffs, there is a chance you will get a weekly high score. 3 of those and you at least get your money back. Plus I run my waiver wire based on rankings. It's a good system for keeping everyone interested through the whole season. Plus with a 60 dollar buy-in people are more likely to take it seriously. I may even up the ante a bit pending what kind of interest I get.

Would anyone else be in? I guess I am on the fence.

Also, the link takes me to a "invalid league" .
