working all muscle groups is a really good idea if you are only getting in twice a week. I would however offer this advice. Pick a rep count and try to stay in that rep count for all sets. For example strength building is 6 or less. Mass building is 8-12. More than that is for fitness and muscle endurance. Any of them are good, but over the course of one exercise you don't really wanna hop between them. For example, one day on squats pick a weight you can comfortably do 15 reps at and try to keep all 3 sets above 15 reps (adjust weights accordingly). Maybe that same day you decide to build strength in your chest so you bench a heavy weight at 6 reps and move up so that you last set is only 2 or 3 reps. The next workout you can flip flop it. The idea is that change is good, but over days not sets.
