Just released last night. Its only a beta, but you can get a rough idea of what tis all about. I was playing before and its still very rough but there are some really cool things about it.

For those of you who don't know what it is, its basically all of the good things from each of the Counter-strike versions all put together.

have fun

Yes its a mod for source.

Everyone had their different opinions about what all of the good things from each game are. This is just a compilation of a few.

1) There is bhopping again, which is kinda fun.
2) the awp quick scope is back from <1.5
3) It doesn't take 15 head shots to kill someone like it does in Source but
4) it looks like source
5) rag doll physics
6) Easy bindable buys

theres a lot more but thats just some.

There is also a .ready command just like in ESEA. Everyone has to ready up for the game to begin. Its kinda wierd and will probably change but its kinda of a cool idea.

Like i said this is only a beta so it will be changing and improving a lot over the next few months.

cs is dead to me, either one

the fun part of cs was playing on the server with everyone, that not being there just leaves you with the game
after playing 3 maps for that many years its time to move on, it just isn't fun for me anymore

me too. i haven't played cs in forever. i miss it, but whenever i would try it again, it just wasn't wickednet cs. we'll never get those good ol' days back, so i'd rather move on.

Yah. Same. Every time I get some random desire for an online FPS, i'd load up CS and it's just a constant disappointment and I just go back to TF2.

ya i understand.. toon- you've played at the server i reg at all the time.. and i know it sucks that wicked doesn't play like that anymore. but i understand i felt those same withdrawels becuase truthfully that's what cs seems to be about hanging w/ your friends for some reason iv'e joined the community there at TDR (texasdr.org) and it feels fun again to be apart of the nonsense and internet bs that's makes cs:s and all fps fun really you guys should pub there more often and if your not into playing cs:s for long just stop by it grows on you !

it doesnt matter what version you have for competitive play as long as everyone is on the same version. They all have their quirks and shortcomings.
